What DueBuddy does
DueBuddy sends polite invoice-follow-up emails from your own Gmail address, so your client replies to you — not to a third party. You approve once, and reminders go out until you mark the invoice paid.
What we collect
- Your Telegram account ID — this is your login.
- Gmail access through Google OAuth (see below).
- Invoice details you enter: client name and email, amount, and due date.
- The history of reminders we send and their status (sent, opened, replied, paid).
Gmail access
We connect to Gmail through Google OAuth. We never see or store your Gmail password. We request two scopes:
gmail.send— to send reminders on your behalf.gmail.readonly— to detect when your client has replied, so we stop chasing once you're paid.
You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account settings.
Where your data lives
On our own server in Frankfurt, Germany (EU jurisdiction). We do not host your data with a third-party data broker.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
- We don't read your inbox beyond detecting replies to the reminders we send.
Read receipts
On Pro and higher, reminders include a 1×1 tracking image so you can see when a client opens a reminder. This records the open time only.
An honest note
This is not a zero-knowledge service. To send emails on your behalf we necessarily handle your invoice data and the reply snippets needed to detect payment.
Third-party services
Telegram (login and Stars payments), Google (Gmail OAuth), and Cloudflare (hosts this website).
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Message us and we'll delete your account and its data.
